Army at Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Army men’s basketball team will look to snap a four-game losing streak when it visits the Marist Red Foxes on Friday night at McCann Recreation Center.

The Black Knights (1-4) are coming off an 86-73 road loss to Cornell on Tuesday. Jacen Holloway led Army in that contest with 22 points, while Jorn Everson scored a team-high 24 points off the bench. Their lone win this season came against Division III SUNY Maritime on Nov. 3.

Marist (2-2) seeks to bounce back after a narrow 56-54 home loss to Harvard on Sunday. Parby Kabamba paced the Red Foxes with 17 points and five rebounds in the defeat. Marist’s victories this season have come against Vassar and Dartmouth.

The game features two teams looking to build momentum before conference play begins next month. Army will continue a challenging stretch of road games, while Marist aims to defend its home court.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
