Bryant at Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG, Va. (Interstat) — The undefeated Virginia Tech Hokies look to continue their strong start to the season when they host the struggling Bryant Bulldogs in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Cassell Coliseum.

Virginia Tech (4-0) is coming off an 84-76 home victory over Charlotte on Sunday. Tobi Lawal powered the Hokies with 18 points and 15 rebounds, while Jailen Bedford added a team-high 21 points. The Hokies’ early-season resume includes an overtime win against Providence and a dominant 94-59 victory over Saint Joseph’s.

Bryant (1-3) arrives after a 68-50 road loss to Valparaiso, where Timofei Rudovskii led the team with 13 points. The Bulldogs’ lone win came against Dartmouth, 82-75, on Nov. 12. They have struggled offensively in their three losses, failing to score more than 66 points.

The game presents a stark contrast in early-season momentum. Virginia Tech’s high-powered offense will test a Bryant team searching for consistency. For the Bulldogs, the matchup begins a difficult stretch that includes a game at Connecticut on Sunday. The Hokies will travel to face Colorado State in the Bahamas next Wednesday.
