Notre Dame at Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Interstat) — Two undefeated teams will clash Sunday when the Notre Dame Fighting Irish visit the Ohio State Buckeyes in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup.
The game, scheduled for Nov. 16, 2025, at Value City Arena, pits a pair of 3-0 squads looking to build early-season momentum.
Notre Dame arrives after an 78-58 home victory over Eastern Illinois on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish have won their first three games by an average of 25.3 points, with Markus Burton (21 points), Braeden Shrewsberry (18 points) and Jalen Haralson (17 points) leading a balanced scoring effort in their most recent outing.
Ohio State also comes off a decisive home win, defeating Appalachian State 75-53 on Tuesday. The Buckeyes have showcased a potent offense, averaging 95.7 points per game. In their last contest, Brandon Noel recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Bruce Thornton and John Mobley added 13 and 16 points, respectively.
The matchup will be a key early test for both programs before each embarks on a challenging stretch. Notre Dame will face Kansas in Las Vegas later this month, while Ohio State has upcoming road games against Pittsburgh and Northwestern.
Tipoff is set for Sunday at Value City Arena in Columbus.
