Princeton at Akron
AKRON, Ohio (Interstat) — The Akron Zips, fresh off a season-opening victory, will host the Princeton Tigers on Saturday at James A. Rhodes Arena.
Akron (1-0) started its season with an 85-71 win over James Madison on Monday. The Zips’ offense was potent in the debut, showcasing a balanced attack.
Princeton will be playing its first game of the 2025-26 season. The Tigers last took the court in the Ivy League, falling 59-57 to Yale in the conference tournament on March 15.
This non-conference matchup pits Akron’s early-season momentum against a Princeton squad looking to start anew. The game is part of a challenging early schedule for the Tigers, who will face Kansas on the road just one week later. For the Zips, it’s a final home test before a tough road trip to Purdue on Nov. 16.
The contest is scheduled for a 2 p.m. EST tip-off on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
