Yale at Navy
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Interstat) — The Navy men’s basketball team will look to build on a season-opening victory when it hosts the Yale Bulldogs at Alumni Hall on Friday.
The Midshipmen (1-0) began their season with a decisive 76-55 road win at Presbyterian on Monday. Navy’s offense was efficient, and its defense held the Blue Hose to 32.8% shooting from the field.
Yale will be playing its first game of the 2025-26 season. The Bulldogs last took the court in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, falling 80-71 to Texas A&M on March 20.
This non-conference matchup pits Navy’s early momentum against a Yale program looking to establish a new identity after its postseason appearance. The game will be the first of a challenging early stretch for the Midshipmen, who face Penn State and North Carolina on the road next week.
For Yale, the contest in Annapolis begins a busy November that includes a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands and a high-profile non-conference game at Alabama in late December.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST at Alumni Hall in Cape Saint Claire.
