WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — Dimetri Iafrate scored 24 points as Wheaton (Mass.) defeated Worcester Polytechnic 82-60 in a men’s NCAA Division III game Friday night at Harrington Auditorium.

The Lyons, improving to 15-10, avenged a loss to the Engineers from six days prior. Tristan Herry added 25 points for Wheaton, which led 39-33 at halftime and pulled away with a 43-point second half. The Lyons shot 20 of 24 from the free-throw line and forced 15 turnovers.

Justin Molen led Worcester Polytechnic with 11 points. The Engineers, who entered with a 21-4 record, shot just 4 of 9 on free throws. Attendance was 1,000.
