(Interstat) — Tanner Overby scored 36 points and Willamette used a dominant first half to pull away from Pacific (Ore.) for an 83-69 victory in a Northwest Conference men’s basketball game Friday night at Cone Field House. The Bearcats (15-8, 10-4 NWC) never trailed, building a double-digit lead in the opening period and withstanding several second-half pushes by the Boxers to sweep the season series.
