Barys enters the matchup with a 9-6 record, while Sibir is 6-10. The teams have met twice already this season, with both games played at Barys. Sibir won the most recent meeting 3-2. Barys earned a 7-1 win in the earlier matchup between the clubs. This will be the first meeting of the season in Novosibirsk.
