DAEGU (Interstat) — Benjamin pitched six scoreless innings, and the visiting Doosan Bears used a 20-hit attack to rout the home Samsung Lions 12-0 on Sunday afternoon at Daegu Samsung Lions Park in Daegu, South Korea. The Bears scored in the third, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth innings while holding the Lions to three hits. Doosan improved to 67-63-4. Samsung fell to 80-51-2. A crowd of 24,000 watched.
