The Wiz are 81-48-5.
KT opened the scoring in the first inning against Lotte starter Na Gyun-an. Choi Won-jun singled to left field, and Kim Hyun-soo followed with a single to right that allowed Choi to advance to third. The Wiz added a run in the second. Jang Sung-woo singled to left, and Kim Sang-su singled to right, moving Jang to third. After Heo Kyoung-min fouled out, Han Seung-taek reached on a fielder’s choice and then singled to center, a sequence that brought Kim Sang-su home. Choi grounded out to first to end the inning, but KT had built a two-run lead.
Na kept the game from getting away from Lotte. The right-hander worked five innings, allowing two earned runs on eight hits. He walked one and struck out three. Lotte’s offense kept pressure on KT starter Bae Je-seong but could not immediately convert. Hwang Seong-bin singled in the first, and Víctor Reyes added a single down the left-field line, but Han Dong-hui struck out to end the threat. In the second, Son Seong-bin doubled to left-center, but Yoon Dong-hee grounded out to second. Na worked around traffic in the third and fourth, retiring Kim Hyun-soo on a flyout and getting Sam Hilliard to ground out.
Bae was effective across 5 1/3 innings. He allowed eight hits and one earned run while striking out two. Lotte’s first run came on Cho Se-jin’s home run to center field. The homer cut KT’s lead and gave the Giants life. Hwang and Na Seung-yeup each added singles later, but Reyes flied out to left to end the inning. Bae departed in the sixth after Lotte put two runners on. Han Dong-hui singled to right, and Jeon Min-jae walked, but Son Seong-bin grounded into a double play to end the inning.
KT had chances to answer. In the fifth, Choi singled to left and Kim Hyun-soo singled to left, moving Choi to second. But Ahn Hyun-min struck out and then lined out to short. In the sixth, Jang Sung-woo walked, but Kim Sang-su grounded out to short and Heo Kyoung-min flied out to center. Lotte’s bullpen began to take over from there.

Park Jeong-min followed with a scoreless inning and no hits. Kim Won-jung also worked a scoreless inning without allowing a hit. Choi Jun-yong pitched a scoreless inning and gave up one hit. The relief work kept KT from adding to its lead.
Lotte finally tied the game later in the afternoon. Víctor Reyes doubled to left field and moved into scoring position. After Han Dong-hui walked, Go Seung-min reached on an infield single, loading the bases. Jeon Min-jae then reached on a fielder’s choice that brought Reyes home. Lotte had more traffic on the bases, but KT escaped further damage when Jeon was out at third.

Son Dong-hyun threw 1 2/3 innings, yielding one hit and one walk while striking out one. The combination of Bae, Park, Kim and Son limited Lotte’s chances to build a larger rally despite the Giants’ 13 hits.
KT threatened again in the eighth. Ahn Hyun-min doubled down the left-field line, but Sam Hilliard grounded out to second, moving Ahn to third. Ryu Jun-kyu then flied out to left, ending the inning. Lotte’s bullpen continued to hold, with Park Jeong-min, Kim Won-jung and Choi Jun-yong each contributing scoreless work.

KT also put a runner on in the ninth when Kim Sang-su walked. Heo Kyoung-min reached on a fielder’s choice that forced Kim out at second. Han Seung-taek and Jang Jun-won then struck out, sending the game to extra innings.
In the 10th, Lotte went down in order. Go Seung-min popped out to short, Jeon Min-jae struck out, and Son Seong-bin struck out. KT also failed to score. Choi Won-jun grounded out to second, Kim Hyun-soo fouled out to the catcher, and Ahn Hyun-min popped out to first.
Lotte mounted one last push in the 11th. Jang Du-seong singled to left field, but Lee Ho-jun reached on a fielder’s choice that erased Jang at second. Hwang Seong-bin then grounded out to the catcher as Lee advanced to second. Kim Dong-hyeok struck out to end the inning. With the game still tied and the clubs having reached the extra-inning limit under KBO rules, the contest was declared a tie.
Individually, Bae Je-seong led the KT pitching effort with 5 1/3 innings, eight hits, one earned run and two strikeouts. Na Gyun-an followed for Lotte with five innings, eight hits, two earned runs, one walk and three strikeouts. Park Yeong-hyun threw 1 1/3 hitless innings with two strikeouts. The tie capped a long afternoon in which both teams had chances but neither could produce a decisive hit. Lotte’s 13 hits were not enough to secure a win, while KT’s 10 hits included early run-scoring contributions from Ahn and Han. The Giants’ record moved to 59 wins, 70 losses and 3 ties. The Wiz’s record is now 81 wins, 48 losses and 5 ties. The teams combined for 23 hits, and the game took 4 hours, 4 minutes. The announced attendance at Suwon Baseball Stadium was 18,700.
