Lotte improved to 53-68-2, while Samsung moved to 72-49-4. Park Jeong-min earned the win in relief for Lotte, improving to 7-3, and Iimura Shota posted his second save. Miyamori Satoshi took the loss for Samsung and fell to 0-2. Na Gyun-an started for Lotte and allowed three earned runs on five hits over six innings, walking three and striking out three. Choi Won-tae started for Samsung, yielding three earned runs on six hits over five innings with three walks and four strikeouts. Jeon Byeong-woo went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for Samsung. Han Dong-hui homered for Lotte, and Víctor Reyes drove in two runs. Lotte scored in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings, while Samsung answered in the second and fifth. Lotte outhit Samsung 9-6.
