SEOUL (Interstat) — Wes Benjamin struck out eight over five innings and Yunior Severino drove in two runs Wednesday night, lifting the Doosan Bears to a 3-1 victory over the Samsung Lions at Jamsil Stadium. Doosan improved to 61 wins, 58 losses and 4 ties. Samsung fell to 71-48-4. The game drew 23,750. Doosan used a two-run first inning, a fourth-inning home run by Yang Suk-hwan and a bullpen that held Samsung without a hit over the final four innings to secure the win.
