BUSAN (Interstat) — Lotte Giants defeated the Kia Tigers 10-2 on Tuesday evening at Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium. Starter Rodríguez earned the win with seven innings of three-hit ball, allowing one earned run and striking out nine. Left fielder Jo-jo Reyes went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, and catcher Son Seong-bin added three hits and two RBIs.

The Giants erupted for eight runs in the first three innings. Reyes doubled in the opener to tie the game, and Han Tae-yang’s infield single gave Lotte a 2-1 lead. Son’s third-inning double and Reyes’ single extended the margin to 7-1. Lotte finished with 18 hits to Kia’s five.

Kia scored its first run in the top of the first on Na Sung-bum’s single, and added one in the eighth on a groundout. The Tigers fall to 44-38-2, while Lotte improves to 37-44.
