SUWON, South Korea (Interstat) — The KT Wiz defeated the Lotte Giants 4-2 on Sunday evening at Suwon Baseball Stadium in front of 18,700 fans.

KT took a 1-0 lead in the third inning when Kwon Dong-jin doubled to right-center, scoring Heo Kyoung-min. Lotte answered in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Hwang Seong-bin to tie the game. The Wiz regained the lead in the bottom half on Sam Hilliard’s solo homer to center.

Lotte tied it again in the sixth on a double by Kim Min-jun that scored Park Chan-hyung. But KT pulled ahead for good in the eighth when Kim Hyun-soo homered to right, driving in two runs.

KT outhit Lotte 8-7. The Wiz improved to 45-35-2, while the Giants fell to 36-44-2. Lotte had won the previous two games of the series.
