SUWON, South Korea (Interstat) – The NC Dinos completed a Sunday afternoon game at Suwon Baseball Stadium with an 8-5 victory over the KT Wiz, salvaging the final contest of a three-game series after dropping the previous two.

NC struck first with two runs in the opening inning on a single by Park Kun-woo and a groundout by Lee Woo-sung. KT answered with a run in the second on Han Seung-taek’s single. The Dinos extended their lead to 4-1 in the third, then Han Suk-hyun hit a two-run homer in the fourth. Kim Hyung-jun added a solo shot in the sixth and a sacrifice fly in the seventh, pushing the advantage to 8-3.

KT chipped away with single runs in the third, fifth, seventh and ninth innings, but could not close the gap. Kim Hyun-soo and Kim Min-hyeok delivered run-scoring hits for the Wiz. Both teams collected double-digit hits, NC with 13 and KT with 12.

Attendance was 15,202. The game lasted 3 hours, 31 minutes. The Dinos improved to 19-27-1, while the Wiz fell to 27-19-1.
