SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — Raul Alcántara delivered eight dominant innings as the Kiwoom Heroes shut out the NC Dinos 3-0 on Wednesday evening at Gocheok Sky Dome. The right-hander scattered seven hits and struck out five, outdueling NC starter Shin Min-hyeok to snap a personal two-game skid.

The Heroes managed only two hits but capitalized on NC’s pitching. Kiwoom broke a scoreless tie in the fifth on Kim Gun-hee’s sacrifice fly. They added two in the sixth, with one run scoring on a bases-loaded walk and another on Park Ju-hong’s RBI single in the seventh.

NC stranded eight baserunners. Kim Ju-won and Lee Woo-sung each had two of the Dinos’ eight hits. The loss dropped NC to 8-12, while Kiwoom improved to 7-14.
