NC at Kiwoom
SEOUL, South Korea (Interstat) — The struggling Kiwoom Heroes look to build on a rare victory when they host the NC Dinos in a Tuesday evening matchup at Gocheok Sky Dome.
Both Korean Baseball Organization clubs have endured difficult starts to the 2026 season. The Heroes (5-14) sit at the bottom of the standings, though they enter having snapped a five-game skid with a 3-1 win at KT on Sunday. The Dinos (8-10) have also scuffled, losing eight of their last 11, but are coming off a 9-2 rout of the Shinsegae Landers.
A key matchup will feature Kiwoom starter Ha Yeong-min, who was brilliant in his last outing, against NC’s power-hitting Matthew Davidson. Ha pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and striking out five in Sunday’s victory. Prior to that, the right-hander had a 6.00 ERA over his first three starts.
Davidson, NC’s designated hitter, broke out of a prolonged slump in Sunday’s win, going 2 for 4 with a home run and three RBIs. Before that, he was in a 1-for-29 drought at the plate. His bat will be central to an NC lineup that has been inconsistent.
Despite Kiwoom’s worse record, sportsbooks have installed the Heroes as a slight pregame favorite with a spread of +1.5. The over/under is set at 8.0 runs. However, statistical models favor the visitors. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 Dinos victory, and its ELO rating system gives NC a 61.3% probability to win.
The game is the first of a three-game series between the clubs. The Dinos will remain in Seoul before heading to Daejeon for a weekend series with the Hanwha Eagles. The Heroes will host the Samsung Lions following this set.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. local time.
