KT Wiz, NC Dinos Set for Series Finale in Changwon

CHANGWON, South Korea (Interstat) — The KT Wiz and NC Dinos will conclude their three-game series Thursday evening at Masan Baseball Stadium, with the visiting Wiz looking to secure the series win after the teams split the first two contests.

The Wiz (10-5) evened the series with a decisive 10-2 victory Wednesday, powered by a pair of home runs and five RBIs from veteran first baseman Kim Hyun-soo. KT has won seven of its last 10 games.

The Dinos (7-8) aim to rebound at home after Wednesday’s loss, which snapped a brief two-game win streak. NC has struggled recently, dropping five of its last seven contests.

Kim Hyun-soo remains the hottest hitter in the series, going 3 for 8 with two homers and five RBIs over the first two games. For the Dinos, reliever Lee Jun-hyeok will be a key figure after pitching 1 2/3 innings in Wednesday’s defeat.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 5-3 victory for the Wiz, while its ELO rating system gives KT a 52.4% probability to win.

First pitch is scheduled for evening under cloudy skies with a temperature near 67 degrees Fahrenheit (19 degrees Celsius).

Following the game, KT returns home to Suwon to begin a series against the Kiwoom Heroes on Friday. NC remains in Changwon to host the Shinsegae Landers.
