NC Dinos Host Lotte Giants in Early-Season Showdown
CHANGWON-SI, South Korea (Interstat) — The NC Dinos and Lotte Giants, tied with matching 2-1 records, will meet for the second consecutive night Wednesday at Masan Baseball Stadium.
First pitch is scheduled for the evening under cloudy skies with temperatures around 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius).
The series opener Tuesday saw the Dinos dominate in a 9-2 victory. NC starter Toda Natsuki earned the win, allowing two earned runs over five innings. Lotte’s Park Se-woong took a hard-luck loss, surrendering five hits but zero earned runs over five frames.
Park Se-woong is again a player to watch for the Giants, looking for redemption after his quality start was wasted. For the Dinos, Toda Natsuki will not pitch on consecutive days, but his performance set a tone the NC lineup will aim to repeat, led by shortstop Kim Whee-jip, who drove in four runs Tuesday.
Both teams opened the 2026 KBO League season with series wins. Lotte took two of three from the Samsung Lions last weekend, while NC split a pair with the Doosan Bears after a season-opening win.
According to Interstat, the Dinos enter as favorites with a 57.40% probability to win. Their game simulator projects a 7-3 victory for NC.
Following Wednesday’s contest, the teams conclude their three-game set Thursday in Changwon. Lotte then returns home to Busan for a weekend series against the Shinsegae Landers. NC embarks on a road trip Friday to face the Kia Tigers in Gwangju.
