Sioux Falls Skyforce, South Bay Lakers Set for G League Showdown

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Interstat) — The South Bay Lakers look to solidify their playoff positioning and complete a quick two-game sweep when they host the Sioux Falls Skyforce in a G League matchup on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the UCLA Health Training Center.

South Bay (31-17), among the Western Conference’s top teams, enters having won eight of its last 10 games despite a narrow 115-114 home loss to Stockton on Tuesday. The Lakers previously defeated the Skyforce 68-58 just two days ago in a defensively focused contest.

The Skyforce (26-22), battling for a postseason berth, aim to halt a two-game skid and gain revenge for Thursday’s defeat. Sioux Falls fell 116-105 to Mexico City in its most recent outing last Saturday.

A key matchup will feature Sioux Falls center Vladislav Goldin against South Bay’s versatile forward Arthur Kaluma. Goldin is coming off a strong all-around performance of 16 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in the loss to Mexico City. Kaluma has been a consistent offensive force for the Lakers, erupting for 31 points and eight rebounds in the loss to Stockton and averaging 22.4 points over his last five games.
