Oklahoma City vs. Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (Interstat) — The Iowa Wolves (27-21) will look to solidify their playoff positioning when they host the struggling Oklahoma City Blue (16-31) in a G League matchup on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Wells Fargo Arena.

The game is a quick rematch, as the Wolves defeated the Blue 66-52 just two days prior on Thursday. Iowa currently holds a significant edge in the standings and will be heavily favored against an Oklahoma City team that has lost seven of its last ten games.

A key matchup will feature two of the league’s most consistent performers. Iowa’s dominance inside is often anchored by center Rocco Zikarsky, who is coming off a stretch of formidable play. In his last five games, Zikarsky has averaged 21.0 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.6 blocks, including a 25-point, 10-rebound, 6-block effort in a narrow loss to Texas on March 22.

Oklahoma City will counter with guard Zhaire Smith, who has been a bright spot during the Blue’s difficult season. Smith has scored 19 or more points in four of his last five outings, averaging 19.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists over that span. His ability to penetrate and create will be critical for a Blue offense that managed only 52 points in Thursday’s meeting.

Iowa’s recent form has been strong, winning six of its last ten, including a 132-110 rout of Salt Lake City on March 18. The Wolves’ offense, which averages over 120 points per game at home, will test an Oklahoma City defense that allows a league-worst 124.7 points per contest.

For the Blue, finding supplementary scoring beyond Smith is imperative. In their recent loss to Rio Grande Valley on March 24, Marquis Barnett (16 points) and Kendall Munson (14 rebounds) provided support, but the team shot poorly overall.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CDT at Wells Fargo Arena. The Wolves will aim to sweep the brief two-game set, while the Blue seek to salvage a split on their road trip and disrupt their host’s postseason momentum.
