Osceola vs. Motor City
Preview: Osceola Magic at Motor City Cruise
WALKER, Mich. (Interstat) — The Motor City Cruise will look to capitalize on home court and recent momentum when they host the Osceola Magic in a G League matchup on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at DeltaPlex Arena.
The game is a quick rematch, as the Cruise (27-21) defeated the Magic (33-16) 132-118 just one day prior on Friday. That victory extended Motor City’s winning streak to four games, part of a hot stretch where they have won eight of their last ten contests.
Interstat’s ELO system projects the Cruise as a significant favorite, giving them a 63.20 percent probability to win on their home floor.
Motor City is powered by forward Isaac Jones, who has been dominant. In his last five games, Jones is averaging 30.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.4 blocks per game, including a 33-point, 11-rebound, 6-assist performance in Wednesday’s 143-132 win over Greensboro. His two-game series at Wisconsin last weekend featured consecutive 20-point, 12-rebound double-doubles.
The Osceola Magic, who own the better overall record, will aim to halt their first two-game skid since early March. They are led by guard Phillip Wheeler, who is coming off a 30-point effort in Friday’s loss to the Cruise. Wheeler has been a consistent scorer, reaching double figures in eight of his last ten outings, including a 27-point game against Sioux Falls on March 3.
Despite Friday’s result, Osceola had been one of the league’s hottest teams, winning seven of eight games prior to the back-to-back losses to Maine and Motor City.
Saturday’s contest will be the final regular-season meeting between the two teams this season. The Cruise will seek a series sweep after Friday’s victory, while the Magic look to reassert their standing near the top of the league standings with a road split.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT at DeltaPlex Arena in Walker.
