Oklahoma City vs. Memphis
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (Interstat) — Two teams in search of momentum will meet when the Oklahoma City Blue visits the Memphis Hustle on Saturday at the DeSoto Civic Center in a G League matchup.
Both teams enter with identical 15-29 records across all competitions, sitting near the bottom of the league standings. The game is the first of a two-game weekend set between the clubs, with a rematch scheduled for Sunday at the same venue.
The Blue are coming off a 130-127 overtime road victory over the Grand Rapids Gold on Tuesday. Forward Brooks Barnhizer led the way with a dominant 17-point, 15-rebound, five-assist performance. He has been a consistent force, recording a double-double in three of his last four games, including a 24-point, 10-rebound effort in a win over Delaware on March 13.
Memphis counters with its own standout forward in Eric Dixon, who is fresh off a spectacular 48-point, seven-rebound outing in a 127-109 road win over Mexico City on March 15. Dixon’s scoring has been volatile but potent; he also tallied 34 points and 10 rebounds in a February win over Wisconsin.
The season series is split 1-1. Memphis earned a 122-119 victory in Oklahoma City on Nov. 13, 2025, but the Blue responded with a 114-84 blowout win at home on Nov. 25, 2025.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Oklahoma City is projected to win convincingly with a final score of 120-100. The model likely factors in the Blue’s recent high-scoring form, having averaged 127.5 points over their last four games, and Memphis’s inconsistent results, which include an 82-119 home loss to Sioux Falls on March 5.
For Oklahoma City, support for Barnhizer has come from center Viktor Lakhin, who posted 17 points and nine rebounds in the overtime win at Grand Rapids. Memphis will look for additional production from guard Charlie Brown Jr., who dished out seven assists alongside 14 points in the Mexico City victory.
Tip-off is set for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Southaven.
