Wolves Overwhelm Stars in High-Scoring G League Affair

DES MOINES, Iowa (Interstat) — The Iowa Wolves dominated the Salt Lake City Stars 132-106 in a G League matchup Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Iowa established a commanding lead with a 47-point first quarter and never looked back, maintaining a double-digit advantage throughout. The Wolves improved to 25-20, while the Stars fell to 26-21. Max Abmas led Salt Lake City with a game-high scoring effort, but Iowa’s balanced attack, featuring Joan Beringer and Jalen Crutcher, proved too much. The teams will meet again in Des Moines on Wednesday.
