Noblesville vs. Motor City

Preview: Noblesville Boom at Motor City Cruise

WALKER, Mich. (Interstat) — Two teams heading in opposite directions meet Tuesday when the Motor City Cruise host the Noblesville Boom in a G League matchup at DeltaPlex Arena.

The Cruise (21-20) have won four of their last five games and are above .500, buoyed by a dominant stretch from center Isaac Jones. The Boom (19-23) have lost three straight and five of their last six, struggling to find consistent form.

Jones enters as one of the league’s hottest players. Over his last five games, he is averaging 28.0 points and 10.0 rebounds, including a 34-point, 15-rebound, five-assist performance in a 133-118 road win over Greensboro on March 7. His interior presence will be a primary focus for Noblesville’s defense.

The Boom will counter with forward Keion Brooks, who is coming off a 40-point, eight-rebound effort in a 140-121 home loss to College Park on March 5. Brooks’ scoring ability will be crucial for a Noblesville team that has allowed an average of 128.3 points during its three-game skid.

This is the third meeting between the teams this season. They split a two-game series in Noblesville in November, with each winning on the other’s court. The Boom took the most recent contest 104-88 on Nov. 23, 2025.

Motor City has found its rhythm offensively, scoring 129 or more points in three of its last four victories. Beyond Jones, recent contributions from Drew Peterson (20 points, 10 assists vs. Greensboro) and Wendell Moore (27 points vs. Greensboro) provide multiple threats.

Noblesville’s recent struggles are highlighted by narrow defeats, including a 135-133 overtime loss at Rio Grande Valley and a four-point loss to Cleveland, but their defense has slipped lately.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. EDT Tuesday. The teams will meet again at DeltaPlex Arena on Thursday, March 12.
