Windy City vs. Cleveland
Preview: Windy City Bulls at Cleveland Charge
CLEVELAND (Interstat) — A surging Cleveland Charge squad will host the .500 Windy City Bulls in a G League matchup Tuesday afternoon at Wolstein Center, with both teams looking to build momentum for the final stretch of the regular season.
The Charge (24-14) enter as one of the league’s hotter teams, having won eight of their last 11 games despite a 128-111 road loss to the Osceola Magic last Friday. They boast a significant edge in the standings over the Bulls (19-19), who are looking to bounce back from a 122-97 defeat in Maine on Sunday.
All eyes will be on a compelling individual matchup between two of the league’s most prolific scorers. Windy City is led by high-flying guard Mac McClung, who has been on a historic tear. Over his last seven games, McClung is averaging a staggering 34.0 points and 6.7 assists per contest, including a 38-point, 8-assist performance in a win over Wisconsin on Feb. 24.
Cleveland will counter with versatile forward Riley Minix, who has been a model of consistent production. In his last nine outings, Minix has averaged 24.3 points and 8.3 rebounds, recording four double-doubles and topping 27 points five times. His 31-point, 16-rebound effort in a win at Noblesville on Feb. 19 highlights his dual-threat capability.
The season series is split 1-1, with each team winning on its opponent’s floor during a late-November series. The Bulls claimed a 142-135 victory on Nov. 28, 2025, before the Charge responded with a 135-117 win two days later.
For Cleveland, a victory would solidify its position near the top of the Eastern Conference. For Windy City, a road win against a top team would be a statement as it seeks to climb above .500. The game will also serve as a preview of a quick rematch, as the same two teams meet again in Cleveland on Friday.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST Tuesday at the Wolstein Center.
