Santa Cruz vs. Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. (Interstat) — A stark contrast in the G League standings will be on display Monday night when the Stockton Kings host the Santa Cruz Warriors at Stockton Arena.

The Kings (24-13), among the league’s top teams, will face a Warriors squad (13-24) struggling near the bottom. The matchup marks the first meeting between the Pacific Division rivals since November, when Stockton secured a pair of decisive road victories, winning 125-103 on Nov. 14 and 126-97 on Nov. 15, 2025.

Stockton enters following a 115-100 road loss to South Bay on Saturday, which snapped a run of strong form. Forward DaQuan Jeffries has been a consistent force, averaging 27.3 points and 7.7 rebounds over his last 10 games. In the most recent loss, he posted 24 points and eight rebounds.

Santa Cruz arrives with momentum from a 121-100 home victory over San Diego on Sunday. A key to their hopes will be center Charles Bassey, who is coming off a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double in a narrow loss to Rip City on Feb. 24.

The Kings’ potent offense, which has scored 125 or more points in six of their last ten outings, will test a Santa Cruz defense that has shown recent improvement but allows an average of 116.7 points per game for the season.

Jeffries’ versatile scoring and rebounding will be central for Stockton as they look to protect their home court and solidify their playoff positioning. For Santa Cruz, containing Jeffries while leveraging Bassey’s interior presence will be critical to reversing their fortunes against the division leader.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. PST at Stockton Arena.
