PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — The Rip City Remix edged the Santa Cruz Warriors 128-126 in a G League contest Tuesday night at Chiles Center. The Remix, who led by as many as 14, survived a late Warriors rally to secure the victory.

Santa Cruz’s Charles Bassey and Deivon Smith led a charge that erased a double-digit deficit, but Rip City’s Caleb Love and Alex Reese made critical plays down the stretch. Reese sealed the win with two free throws with 10 seconds remaining.

The Warriors, who fell to 12-23, had won the teams’ previous meeting last Sunday. The Remix improved to 22-16.
