Youngblood, Blue Overpower Spurs in High-Scoring G League Affair

OKLAHOMA CITY (Interstat) — The Oklahoma City Blue used a dominant first quarter to defeat the Austin Spurs 109-100 in a G League game Tuesday afternoon at Cox Convention Center.

Oklahoma City established early control with a 37-point opening period, creating a deficit Austin could not overcome despite a 31-point second-quarter rally. The Blue’s Chris Youngblood keyed the fast start. The Spurs, who entered as heavy favorites, were led by Donovan Williams and Kyle Mangas.

The loss moves Austin to 26-11 overall, while Oklahoma City improves to 13-25.
