FRISCO, Texas (Interstat) — DaQuan Jeffries scored 28 points to propel the Stockton Kings to a 111-109 G League victory over the Texas Legends on Saturday at Dr Pepper Arena. The Kings, who led by as many as 14 points, survived a late push from the Legends.

Stockton used a 38-point third quarter to build a cushion. Texas guard Ryan Nembhard scored 23 of his team-high 31 points in the second half to fuel the comeback attempt, but the Legends fell short. Jeffries added eight rebounds and five assists for Stockton, while Jaylin Williams had 19 points and 12 rebounds.

With the win, Stockton improved to 21-10. Texas fell to 13-21.
