UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Interstat) — Isaac Jones scored 32 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Motor City Cruise to a 106-104 G League victory over the Long Island Nets on Wednesday night at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Jones, who also blocked seven shots, propelled a key second-quarter run that erased an early deficit. His final two free throws with 26 seconds left provided the decisive margin. Wendell Moore added 20 points and 10 rebounds for Motor City.

Long Island, which led 30-24 after the first quarter, got 18 points from Jeenathan Williams. Terry Roberts had 11 points and eight assists. The Nets had a chance to tie after Jones’ late free throws but missed a final shot.

Motor City improved to 14-16. Long Island fell to 16-14.
