Iowa vs. Wisconsin

IOWA, Wis. (Interstat) — The Iowa Wolves and Wisconsin Herd will meet for the second time in three days when the G League teams face off Tuesday night at Oshkosh Arena.

The Herd (4-9) earned a 107-102 home victory over the Wolves (7-6) this past Sunday, providing a blueprint for success against their Midwest Division rival. Wisconsin will aim for a repeat performance to build momentum, while Iowa seeks immediate redemption to climb back above .500.

Iowa forward Enrique Freeman enters as a key figure. Over his last six games, Freeman is averaging 13.3 points and 8.0 rebounds, including a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double in a win over Windy City on Nov. 21. His consistent interior presence will be critical for the Wolves, who have lost two of their last three.

Wisconsin will counter with guard Johnny Davis, who is coming off a 20-point, 8-rebound performance in a narrow loss to Grand Rapids on Dec. 13. Davis has shown high-level scoring ability, dropping 23 points in a Nov. 30 overtime defeat, but his production has been variable. A sustained effort from Davis could tip the scales for the struggling Herd.

The Sunday contest was tightly contested, indicating another close matchup is likely. Iowa’s offense, which has surpassed 140 points three times this season, will test a Wisconsin defense that has allowed an average of 110.2 points per game.

Following Tuesday’s game, both teams break for the holiday before resuming play on Dec. 27. Iowa travels to face Greensboro, while Wisconsin visits Grand Rapids.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. CST at Oshkosh Arena.
