Noblesville vs. Cleveland

CLEVELAND (Interstat) — The Cleveland Charge (5-6) will seek to avenge a recent high-scoring loss when they host the Noblesville Boom (3-7) in a G League rematch Friday at Wolstein Center.

The teams met just two nights prior, with Noblesville earning a 140-128 road victory behind a potent backcourt performance. Boom guards Kyle Guy (35 points, six rebounds, six assists), Steven Ashworth (27 points, five rebounds, 10 assists) and R.J. Felton (23 points) combined for 85 points.

Cleveland was led in that loss by Luke Travers, who posted 24 points and 12 rebounds. Chaney Johnson added 17 points and Darius Brown had 16 points and seven assists.

The win on Wednesday snapped a two-game skid for the Boom and marked their second victory in three outings. The Charge, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four games following a two-game win streak in late November.

Friday’s contest is the second of 12 meetings scheduled between the Eastern Conference rivals this season. The result could impact early positioning in the Central Division, where both teams currently reside.
