Oklahoma City vs. Austin
LEANDER, Texas (Interstat) — The Austin Spurs, off to a hot start this G League season, will host the Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday looking for a repeat of their dominant performance from just two days prior.
The Spurs (7-1) handed the Blue (4-3) a 93-77 loss on Friday afternoon, establishing themselves as the team to beat in the early season. Austin has won seven straight games since a season-opening loss.
Oklahoma City will aim to bounce back from that defeat, having previously showcased its potential in a 114-84 rout of Memphis on Tuesday. In that victory, Brooks Barnhizer recorded a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Branden Carlson added 16 points and 13 rebounds.
The Spurs, however, have been consistently formidable. In their most recent outing, a 118-100 win over Rio Grande Valley on Monday, Jayden Nunn led all scorers with 27 points and Micah Potter controlled the paint with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Sunday’s game at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park offers Oklahoma City a chance for immediate redemption and to prove it can compete with the Western Conference’s top team. The Blue’s offense, which surpassed 110 points in three of their four wins, was stifled by Austin’s defense in the first meeting.
Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.
