SAN DIEGO (Interstat) — The San Diego Clippers defeated the Rip City Remix 129-118 in a G League game on Sunday at Frontwave Arena. The Clippers built a commanding lead with a 42-point first quarter and held off a persistent Remix squad the rest of the way. Both teams now hold identical 3-2 records on the season. The outcome defied a national projection that had heavily favored Rip City to win. Patrick Baldwin and Jason Preston were key contributors for San Diego in the victory.
