LEANDER, Texas (Interstat) — The Austin Spurs defeated the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 130-123 in a G League contest Sunday at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The Spurs improved to 6-1 overall, while the Vipers moved to 3-3. Austin secured the win with a dominant 41-point fourth quarter, overcoming a strong offensive performance from Rio Grande Valley, which scored 37 points in both the second and third periods. The two teams are scheduled for a rematch Monday.
