Stockton vs. Santa Cruz
BONNY DOON, Calif. (Interstat) — The Santa Cruz Warriors will look to secure their first win of the G League season when they host the Stockton Kings on Saturday at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
The Warriors (0-3) are coming off a 121-101 road loss to the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday. Marques Bolden leads the team, averaging 24 points, while L.J. Cryer is adding 25 points per game.
They face a Stockton squad (1-1) that is riding high after a 117-108 victory over San Diego last Sunday. Daeqwon Plowden scored 34 points in the win, and center Dylan Cardwell recorded a 14-point, 15-rebound double-double.
The teams are familiar with each other, having just played on Friday, Nov. 14, though the result of that contest was not provided.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the Kings are projected to win decisively, 123-100.
Saturday’s game will be the first of a back-to-back for Santa Cruz, which travels to face the South Bay Lakers next Friday. Stockton’s next contest is at home against the Valley Suns on Wednesday.
