KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The surging Osceola Magic, one of the G League’s two remaining unbeaten teams, will look to continue their perfect start when they host the Birmingham Squadron on Friday night at Silver Spurs Arena.

Osceola (3-0) is coming off a 117-111 home victory over Mexico City on Thursday. The Magic have been dominant in their early schedule, including a 144-112 rout of Texas on Nov. 8.

Birmingham (1-2) arrives with momentum after earning its first win of the season, a 106-97 road victory against Oklahoma City on Tuesday. The Squadron were led in that contest by Trey Alexander, who scored 26 points, and D.J. Carton, who added 19 points and nine assists.

The game will be the first of a two-game set between the teams, who are scheduled to meet again at the same venue on Sunday.

The Squadron will look to build on their recent performance and hand the Magic their first loss of the young season.
