Capital City vs. Long Island
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Interstat) — The Capital City Go-Go and Long Island Nets will look to establish an early-season edge when they conclude a two-game set Sunday at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The Eastern Conference G League foes opened their 2025-26 seasons against each other on Friday, with both teams seeking their first victory. The game is a quick turnaround for both clubs after lengthy offseasons.
Capital City last played on April 1, 2025, falling 115-95 to the Maine Celtics. Long Island’s most recent action was a 128-93 home loss to Cleveland on March 29.
Sunday’s contest continues a season-opening three-game road trip for the Go-Go, who will not play their home opener until Nov. 12 against Westchester. The matchup is the second of a brief two-game homestand for the Nets, who will hit the road for a pair of games in Maine next weekend.
The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. EST tip-off.
