GREENSBORO, N.C. (Interstat) — The Maine Celtics and Greensboro Swarm will open their 2025-26 G League seasons Friday night at Greensboro Coliseum Fieldhouse.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to start the new campaign on a high note after concluding the previous season with losses. Maine finished its 2024-25 schedule with a 122-135 road loss to the Osceola Magic on April 6. The Swarm last played on April 1, falling 110-120 to the Indiana Mad Ants.

The game marks the first of a quick home-and-home set for the two Eastern Conference squads. They will meet again in Greensboro on Saturday night before embarking on more extended stretches of their schedules.

The Celtics will continue a season-opening road trip with a game at Raptors 905 on Nov. 12. The Swarm, after hosting Maine for the second consecutive night, will hit the road for a pair of games at the Delaware Blue Coats beginning Nov. 13.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. EST on Friday.
