SYDNEY (Interstat) — Substitute Iliman Ndiaye scored in the 28th minute to give Bonnyrigg W.E. a 1-0 victory over Mounties Wanderers in a New South Wales NPL 2 match Friday at Cook Park Mount Pritchard.

The decisive play followed a chaotic sequence. Mounties’ Yves Bissouma received a yellow card in the 23rd minute and was sent off with a red card in first-half stoppage time. Despite being down a man, the Wanderers held firm until Ndiaye’s finish, assisted by Hamari Traoré.

The match featured eight yellow cards total. The result aligned with a pregame projection that narrowly favored Bonnyrigg. With the win, Bonnyrigg opens its league campaign 1-0, while Mounties starts 0-1.
