BURIRAM, Thailand (Interstat) — FK Podunavac delivered a stunning offensive display Sunday, overwhelming Jedinstvo Sta 8-1 in a Week 24 Srpska Liga match played at Chang Arena.

The result defied a pregame projection that favored Jedinstvo Sta. Podunavac scored early and often, with midfielder Thanakrit Chotmuangpak netting two goals. Jordan Emaviwe, Suphanat Mueanta, Robert Žulj, Bissoli, Rubén Sánchez and Eduardo Mancha each added one.

Jedinstvo Sta’s lone goal came in the 16th minute from Emaviwe, but Podunavac responded with seven unanswered scores, including five before halftime. The match featured eight yellow cards.

The victory gives Podunavac a winning start to its league campaign, while Jedinstvo Sta begins with a loss. The game was part of the Serbian league schedule but was contested in Thailand.
