TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (Jan. 31, 2026) (Interstat) — West Ham United rallied from a two-goal deficit to draw AZ 2-2 in a UEFA Europa Conference League match Saturday at Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés.

AZ led 2-0 after 41 minutes following an own goal from West Ham’s David Flores in the 26th minute, a goal from Aldo Fajardo in the 35th and Tijjani Reijnders’ strike assisted by Sven Mijnans. West Ham mounted a second-half comeback. Mohamed Saïd Benrahma scored in the 67th minute before substitute Michail Antonio netted the equalizer in the 75th.

The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat’s simulator, which forecast a 2-1 AZ victory. Four yellow cards were issued in a physical contest. The teams will meet again in the second leg Sunday in the Netherlands.
