NOUAKCHOTT, Mauritania (Interstat) — Inter Nouakchott and ASC Gendrim played to a 0-0 draw in MTN Premier League play Thursday at Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya.

The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which gave Inter Nouakchott a 55.7% chance to win and predicted a 1-0 victory. The match was part of the league’s Week 20 schedule.

The stalemate leaves Inter Nouakchott with one win and one draw in the domestic competition this season. ASC Gendrim’s league record now stands at one loss and one draw.

A physical second half produced five yellow cards, with four issued after the 82nd minute, including bookings for substitutes Celestin Ecua and Babacar Sarr in stoppage time.
