KLAGENFURT, Austria (Interstat) — Saint Pölten U16 defeated Klagenfurt U16 2-0 on the road Saturday in a Week 26 Jugendliga U16 match at Campo Sportivo di Fiorentino Federico Crescentini.

The game, organized by the aut-aju, was a defensive stalemate until Thierry Fidjeu Tazemeta broke through for Saint Pölten in the 63rd minute. The visitors added a second goal later to seal the victory. The result defied pregame projections that favored Klagenfurt.

Both teams received first-half yellow cards, with Saint Pölten’s Tristan Obersheimer booked in the 24th minute and Klagenfurt’s Tjaš Zec cautioned in the 34th. The win moves Saint Pölten’s league record to 4-2, matching Klagenfurt’s identical mark in the competition.
