BRESCIA, Italy (Interstat) — FC Mutschellen defeated FC Pratteln 3-1 on Wednesday in a Swiss 2. Liga Interregional match, overcoming pregame projections. The Week 20 contest was held at Stadio Mario Rigamonti.

Frederik Sørensen opened the scoring for Pratteln in the 11th minute. Mutschellen responded with two first-half goals from Valerio Crespi in the 20th and 32nd minutes. Nicola Patanè sealed the victory with a 76th-minute strike. The result defied a statistical simulation that had projected a 1-0 win for Pratteln, which was given a 52.3 percent probability to win.
