Barockstadt Fulda-Lehn. vs Rot-Weiß Walldorf

FULDA, Germany (Interstat) — Regional clubs Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz and Rot-Weiß Walldorf will meet in a club friendly Saturday at Kunstrasenplatz Fulda Johannisstraße, offering a winter fitness test for both sides.

The match pits a Barockstadt F-L side that has not played a competitive match since September against a Walldorf team coming off a month-long winter break.

Barockstadt F-L last took the field on Sept. 20, 2025, falling 2-1 to Freiburg II. The extended layoff makes current form a mystery for the home team. Their schedule shows a quick turnaround, as they are slated to host Fernwald in another friendly later the same day.

Visiting Rot-Weiß Walldorf enters with more recent match sharpness, concluding its 2025 calendar with a 3-1 away victory over SV Hummetroth on Dec. 6. That win capped an inconsistent stretch for Walldorf, which saw a 4-3 win over SV Darmstadt II on Nov. 30 preceded by a 2-0 loss to Turk Friedberg on Nov. 22.

Statistical projections for the friendly present a direct contradiction. The Interstat game simulator predicts a narrow 1-0 victory for Rot-Weiß Walldorf. However, the same outlet’s ELO rating system heavily favors Barockstadt F-L, assigning the home team an 81.40% probability of winning.

The friendly, organized under the Club Friendlies umbrella, will be played on the artificial turf at Fulda Johannisstraße. Such winter fixtures are commonly used by clubs at this level to maintain fitness and evaluate players during the traditional break in league play across Germany.

Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.
