LEEUWARDEN, Netherlands (Interstat) — In a shocking reversal of expectations, Willem II U21 routed Cambuur U21 7-0 on Thursday in a UEFA U19 Championship Qualification match. The lopsided result defied a pregame projection that gave the home side a 91.9 percent probability to win at Cambuur Stadion.

The visitors dominated from the start, with substitute Goren Tamar scoring in the third and 38th minutes. Adee Goulden, Or Divan, Talia Darah Camin and Shay Elmaleh also scored for Willem II. Divan and Tamar each finished with two goals. Cambuur failed to answer, suffering a comprehensive defeat to open its divisional campaign. Willem II’s Nyorah Celeste received the match’s only yellow card in the 54th minute.
