ETIMESGUT, Turkey (Interstat) — Vanspor FK delivered a dominant performance Friday, defeating the home side Etimesgut 5-1 in a Turkish 2. Lig match at Etimesgut Belediyesi Kemal Atatürk Stadyumu. The visitors’ attack overwhelmed Etimesgut, with midfielder Sedat Komi breaking a scoreless deadlock in the 54th minute. The lopsided result defied a Interstat game simulator, which had projected a 1-1 draw, though its ELO system gave Vanspor FK a 65.5% win probability. Etimesgut’s Fatih Cerlek received a yellow card in the 72nd minute. With the victory, Vanspor FK begins its league campaign with a win, while Etimesgut starts with a loss.
