RA’ANANA, Israel (Interstat) — H. Raanana defeated Kiryat Yam 3-2 on Monday, using goals from Roi Hare, Daniel Atlan and Amir Berkovich to hold off a late visiting rally. Hare scored in the 37th minute and Atlan added another in the 40th to give the hosts a 2-0 lead. Ilya Putskin pulled Kiryat Yam back in the 46th, but Berkovich restored H. Raanana’s cushion in the 63rd. Kiryat Yam scored again in the 87th, but H. Raanana closed out the result. Kiryat Yam did not score again after the 87th minute. Putskin, Hare, Atlan and Berkovich each played the full 90 minutes. The teams combined for five goals, with three coming before halftime and two after the break. The win improved H. Raanana to 4-2-1 in this competition and 5-2-1 across all competitions. Kiryat Yam fell to 2-2-1 in the competition and 3-2-1 overall.
